Planning & Environmental Advisory Committee
The Planning and Environmental Advisory Committee (PEAC) is an advisory Committee to Council on matters related to planning and other environmental issues.

PEAC generally review and make recommendations to Council on various planning matters such as Official Plan Amendments, Zoning Bylaw Amendments and Subdivision approval applications. Council may also delegate other matters to the Committee to assist in policy development.
PEAC is made up of 5 members who are members of the general public and do not sit on Town Council. PEAC is an advisory Committee only, providing recommendations to Council for their consideration. PEAC works with the Director of Planning on larger policy issues delegated to them by Council.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every other month, as needed, at 7 p.m. in the Municipal Office Committee Meeting Room.
