The majority of planning-related fees can be paid online by credit card. The fees should only be paid once the Town’s Planning Department has requested payment for an application fee or service.
Paying Planning Fees Online
Minor Planning Review
Pay the $150 fee for a general planning inquiry. This provides property zoning and permitted uses. Online resources are available at no charge on the Planning page.
Moderate Planning Review
Pay the $1,250 fee for the Town of Mono Planning Department's review of a moderate application, such as secondary dwelling, addition etc.
Major Planning Reviews
Pay the $2,500 fee for the Town of Mono Planning Department's review of major applications such as zoning bylaw amendments, official planning amendments and consent applications.
Grading Reviews
Pay the $500 for a grading review by the Town of Mono's engineer. A grading review may be required during the development permit process if the property is zone suburban residential.
Official Plan / Zoning Confirmation Letter
Pay the $100 fee for an offical plan/zoning confirmation letter. The letter can be used if the property is being sold and the buyer or purchaser require information about the property. Does not include building permit status.
Other Planning Fees
Pay a fee that is not listed on the Paying Planning Fees Online Page. Please only use this form if you have been asked to do so by the Town of Mono's Planning Department. Other relevant service fees for Planning are listed in Bylaw 2022-47.
