Pre-Consultation for a Residential Subdivision Development
The Planning Department has received an application for Pre Consultation on a proposed development consisting of a residential subdivision containing 220 three-storey townhomes with parking at grade, landscape buffers between rear lot lines, and vehicular access provide by an internal road network from two access driveways, one located on Kingfisher Drive and one located on County Road 16.
The property is currently zoned Highway Commercial (CH-4) Zone. This proposal would require an Official Plan Amendment (OPA) [employment lands conversion per Section 8.6.1 (v) of the DCOP] + Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) [site specific RU zone to permit the proposed townhouse development] + Plan of Condominium + Site Plan Control.
