Mono’s two community centres, Monora Park Pavilion and Mono Community Centre, offer ideal venues for wedding receptions, parties, family reunions, seminars, meetings or other special occasions. Each centre, located in its own park setting (perfect for photographs), offers banquet facilities, various sized meeting rooms, and fully equipped kitchens. For outdoor wedding ceremonies, our gazebos offer the ideal venue.
In addition to Mono's seven municipal parks, outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, Island Lake Conservation Area and the Hockley Valley Nature Preserve. For further information on our parks, please visit our Parks page.
Walking trails in Mono are not maintained in the winter; however, there are 3 skating rinks, cross country skiing and tobogganing for your enjoyment.
