Across the Oak Ridges Moraine, decisions about where we build, how we grow, and how we protect our farms, forests, and water are being made every day through municipal land-use policy. This talk examines the history of the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, its economic and environmental importance, the provincial policy changes undermining its effectiveness, and the issues voters should understand as they head into the 2026 municipal elections.
