We are delighted to welcome Wayne Townsend and Naomi Bristow as our special guests to lead this year’s Relessey Memorial.  

Wayne Townsend, longtime retired curator of the Museum of Dufferin, is a beloved local historian. If your ancestors settled in Dufferin County-whether from Ireland or anywhere else- chances are Wayne knows more about them than you do!
Wayne has graciously led our service on many occasions, always captivating the audience with his heartfelt stories.  He holds Relessey in a very special place in his heart.  This year, his message is titled “Just One Small Church.”

Naomi Bristow is a talented young artist raised on a farm in Ontario, Canada.  Growing up as a country girl immersed in rodeo life and gospel music, she developed a deep love for traditional country and western music.  At a young age Naomi taught herself to yodel using a book and a cassette tape. Now with 16 years in the music industry, she has released 11 albums- many recorded in Nashville- featuring duets with Grand Ole Opry stars, Jim Ed Brown (The Browns), Richard Sterban (bass singer of the Oak Ridge Boys), a gospel project with Vince Gill, and a Christmas album with Whisperin’ Bill Anderson.  We are so looking forward to your performance Naomi!

As always, we are committed to keeping our church and cemetery grounds in good repair and well maintained.  This is made possible through the generous donations and contributions we receive.  It is truly a labour of love from our dedicated Board members. Relessey Church & Cemetery remains a beautiful, peaceful, and important part of Mono’s heritage.

Once a request for vendor table is received, a staff member will be in contact to secure your table and process payment.

  • Rental fee is non-refundable.

  • ONE  TABLE and TWO CHAIRS will be provided per rental fee. Table and chairs are the property of the Organizer and damage to them must be paid for by the Vendor.

  • Pets, alcoholic beverages, and smoking are prohibited.
    ‍
  • The Town of Mono is not responsible for accidents or injuries during the set-up of the event, the event, or tearing down the event. This includes people assisting Vendors.

  • The Town of Mono is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise and/or money.
    ‍
  • Vendors will have access to set-up their table on Friday, November 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, November 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Elevator is available for use.

  • Burning candles is prohibited.
    ‍
  • Vendors are requested to remain set-up until the close of the event at 4:00 p.m. All items that were brought by the Vendor must be removed by the Vendor.

  • The Vendor will not sublet or rent out their assigned space at any time.

  • The Organizer is permitted to take photographs of the booths, Vendors and the event. The Organizer is permitted to use these photographs for advertisement or promotion purposes.

  • Nothing can be glued, taped, or tacked to the walls.
    ‍
  • Electricity is available but limited. Please let us know in advance if you will need it. Extension cords will not be provided. Cords must be secured to the floors with tape.

  • Limited internet available. Internet is not guaranteed at all times.

  • Vendors are responsible for their own cashbox and table covering.

  • Payment will secure your table at the event.
