At its Council Meeting on March 26, 2024, Council proclaimed April 2 as World Autism Day in the Town of Mono. A flag is being flown today (April 2, 2024) at Mono Town Hall in recognition of this day. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is recognized as the most common neurological disorder, affecting 1 in every 66 children as well as their friends, family, and community. World Autism Day is an opportunity to create awareness and to provide support & advocacy.
