In the coming weeks, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDG Public Health) will be applying larvicide to catch basins and surface water on locations owned or managed by the Town of Mono. This includes municipal and lands that drain into storm drain systems or waterways in the Town of Mono. WDG Public Health administers this program annually in an effort to reduce mosquito populations known to carry West Nile Virus.
