Purpose of Variance
To reduce required minimum (interior) side yard setback of 7.63 metres (25.03 feet) to 3.34 metres (10.96 feet) and reduce required minimum rear yard setback of 7.63 metres (25.03 feet) to 4.75 metres (15.58 feet) at the north east corner of the proposed addition to the existing building, in order to permit construction of the addition with gross floor area = 9037 m2 (10,085.80 ft2) per Zoning Bylaw 78-1.

To comply with Provincial COVID measures, any person, (i.e. not Applicant + Town Staff + Committee Members) who may wish to submit (written) comments on this Application, but who does not wish to attend virtual meeting, may submit comments via email to Secretary Treasurer - Committee of Adjustment, at least 5 business days prior to date of the Meeting.
To comply with Provincial COVID measures, any person, (i.e. not Applicant + Town Staff + Committee Members) who may wish to make a verbal deputation or comments on this Application at the virtual meeting, can do so by registering at least 1 business day in advance of the meeting. To register, visit the online registration page and specify the date and file number. You will receive instruction on how to join the meeting. Anyone who attempts to join the meeting after it has started will not be allowed to log in, for security reasons.
Persons interested in reviewing submitted Application, must contact the Secretary Treasurer by telephone at least 48 business hours prior to attending the Town Municipal Office. Anyone who wishes to attend the Municipal Office will be pre-screened for COVID and must wear face mask.
If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Town of Mono Committee of Adjustment, respecting the proposed Minor Variance, does not make written submissions to the Committee of Adjustment before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT) may dismiss the appeal.
