The Town of Mono has accepted a challenge from the Township of Melancthon to host a food drive! The Food Bank Challenge will go from October 1 to November 29, 2024. The Township of Melancthon also challenged:
- Township of Amaranth,
- Township of East Garafraxa,
- Township of Mulmur,
- Town of Grand Valley,
- Town of Shelburne,
- and Town of Orangeville

You can get involved by donating non-perishable items and personal hygiene products.
Where to Donate for the Challenge
You can donate your items at Mono Town Hall (347209 Mono Centre Road, Mono, ON). Donations will also be accepted at select Town events:
- Children's Halloween Party (spots are limited and online registration required) on October 27
- Monora Pumpkin Trail on November 1, 2024 at Monora Park
- 3R's Christmas Bazaar on November 9, 2024 at Monora Park Pavilion
- Harvest Euchre Tournament (spots are limited) on November 15
- Wreath and Wine Workshops (spots are limited) on November 21 and November 28 at Monora Park Pavilion
All donations will go to Dufferin Foodbanks.
