Upcoming Road Closure
There will be a road closure on Hurontario Street for the reconstruction of Bridge 9, located approximately 1.4 km north of Mono Centre Road
(Dufferin Road 8). Preliminary tree cutting within the Town’s right-of-way will take place in the coming weeks, with construction expected to commence sometime in July with a fall 2022 completion.
Detour
Throughout the duration of construction, all traffic will be detoured via 20 Sideroad, 1st Line EHS and Mono Centre Road (Dufferin Road 8). Access will be maintained to all properties during this time and a full detour and signage plan will be implemented to inform the motoring public. A map illustrating the project location and detour route is included on this page.
All agencies, such as, but not limited to; emergency services, waste management (GFL), Canada Post, Dufferin County, Ministry of Transportation (MTO), school boards and bus companies will receive a copy of this notice. Every effort will be made to ensure there is minimal or no disruption to the services they provide.
