Credit Valley Conservation’s Wetland Restoration Team will be controlling invasive willow species and phragmites at Monora Park to protect and encourage the growth of native plants in this developing wetland.
This work is planned to take place from July 28th to July 31st, weather permitting.
The control efforts will involve pesticide application in the dry areas of the old pond basin and are not expected to affect pedestrian trails.
Signage will be installed by Friday, July 25th and will remain in place until Tuesday, August 5th.
