This declaration is made as it relates to Ontario's Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways. The Town reminds drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution when using the Town's roads and sidewalks and, as always, to drive or walk as the road or sidewalk conditions allow. The Town will issue public notice when this significant weather event has ended.

A Significant Weather Event has been declared in the Town of Mono due to hazards created by near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow and the accumulation of heavy snowfall in some areas.
