Get ready to vote in Ontario’s provincial election!
A provincial general election has been called and election day is February 27. There are many ways to vote, including by mail, at your local election office, at an advance voting location, and on election day.
To be eligible to vote, you must be:
- 18 years of age or older;
- a Canadian citizen; and
- a resident of Ontario.
Confirm, Update or Add Your Voter Information
Confirm, update or add your voter information to the Register by February 17 to receive a voter information card in the mail with information on when and where to vote. Voter information cards will be in the mail from February 17 to 22.
Vote in person at your local election office from January 30 until 6 PM (Eastern Time) on February 26. Remember to bring your ID.

A complete list of candidates will be available after February 13, 2025. You will be able to search candidates online.
Dufferin Board of Trade: Election Debate
The Dufferin Board of Trade is hosting the following election debates for the Dufferin-Caledon riding:
- February 18, 2025 from 7 to 9 PM at Theatre Orangeville
- February 20, 2025 from 7 to 9 PM at Grace Tipling Hall, Shelburne
These debates are open to the public, and all residents of Dufferin-Caledon are invited to attend, engage, and participate.
