To apply for an exemption to Bylaw 2026-8 (Noise Bylaw),the following must be submitted to the Clerk at least 60 days prior to the event:
Council for the Town of Mono may refuse, grant, or grant with conditions the exemption request.
This form may be completed online or the following paper form may be completed:
If you are not the owner of the property where the event(s) or construction will be taking place, you will have to upload or provide a letter of approval from the property owner.
The letter will need to explicity grant permission for the applicant to apply for a Town of Mono Noise Bylaw Exemption.
Do not proceed with filling out the application unless you have this letter.
Upon submitting your application, you will be required to provide written notice to adjacent property owners, per section 7.3 of the Noise Bylaw. This notice is in addition to the notice required in the Terms and Conditions #2.
