Applications for the Electoral Reform Task Force are now open. Applicants must be residents/ratepayers for the Town of Mono.

The Electoral Reform Task Force will be investigating possible changes to the Town of Mono electoral process in time to be implemented before the next municipal election on October 24, 2022. The task force will examine and make recommendations regarding adopting a ward system and/or ranked ballots. Other changes to the election process may also be recommended, including the method of voting (mail-in ballot, telephone & internet voting systems).

It is anticipated that the task force will make their recommendations to Council in 2020.
