Dufferin County will be holding a Public Meeting pursuant to SEction 26(3) and (4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 (as amended).
The Dufferin County Official Plan is a statement of goals, objectives and policies intended to guide future land use, physical development, and growth within the boundaries of the County. The primary purpose of the County’s Municipal Comprehensive Review is to update the Official Plan to ensure conformity with Provincial policies, have regard to maters of Provincial interest, and to address the changing demographics, employment and needs of the County.
Ontario’s Planning Act requires that County Council shall hold a special meeting of Council to discuss the revisions to the Official Plan that may be required under the Municipal Comprehensive Review.

The public is invited to attend this statutory public meeting to provide input into the Official Plan Review/ Municipal Comprehensive Review process. We would like your input to identify issues to be considered in the Municipal Comprehensive Review process, which will help build a vision for the Official Plan, but also help develop solutions to issues.
