Summer Student Recreation Assistant
The Town of Mono is Accepting Applications for a Summer Student Recreation Assistant. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Reporting to the Director of Recreation, the individual should have an outgoing personality, be comfortable working with minimal supervision, and have access to transportation, including a valid G driver's licence. Preference will be given to candidates with current first aid and CPR training and soccer & gardening experience. Position is contingent upon obtaining a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
The position is full time (35 hours per week, including some evening hours), commencing May 25 to September 3, 2021
- Overseeing Mono's Children's Summer Soccer program (COVID regulations dependent)
- Daily maintenance of the Town's gardens and
- Assisting Town Department Heads with various administrative tasks including, but not limited to: research, data input, bylaw and policy review.
