2026 February 24 Public Meeting
Council will hold a public meeting on the Discharge of Firearms Bylaw on February 24, 2026 at 9:15 AM. The meeting will be held at Mono Town Hall (347209 Mono Centre Road) and virtually. The agenda with virtual access information will be posted online before the meeting.
Draft Bylaw
At its December 10 meeting, Council gave first reading to a bylaw to regulate the discharge of firearms and bows. Responses to the survey, whether it is the paper survey or online survey, must be submitted before June 13, 2025.

Note for Non Mono Residents
Those who are not Mono residents/ratepayers may take the survey. To do so, select "No" to the question "Are you a resident of Mono."
You will be presented the same survey with additional questions. The data provided will be reported to Council.
The note about discarded data is only if a non Mono address is entered into the Mono address field, which is a field only available to those who select "Yes" to being a Mono resident.
