Winterfest

Celebrate all things winter at Mono's Annual Winterfest!
Mono Community Centre Noon - 4 pm

Held at Mono Community Centre in Mono, Winterfest is an opportunity to skate, go tobogganing, or try out snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There will be homemade chili, BBQ’d hot dogs & sausages as well as the Mayor’s own baked beans.

More Outdoor Fun

The Town has 2 outdoor ice rinks, maintained by volunteers, for your daytime and evening enjoyment. The rinks are located at Madill Meadows Park, 33 Madill Dr. & Mono Community Centre, in Mono Centre.

Please follow the signs in order to keep the rinks at their best. As usual, Mother Nature will determine the condition of the ice rinks. As well as the ice rink, there is a toboggan hill at Mono Community Centre.

Camp Monadh Mor

world. The camp will be held at Mono Community Centre in the hamlet of Mono Centre and will run 4 one week sessions:

Week 3 » August 8-12, 2016
Week 4 » August 22-26, 2016

The Town of Mono and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) have put their collective resources together to create Camp Monadh Mor, a summer

day camp for kids.

The camp will offer kids ages 5 - 12 a range of hands-on activities that will develop your child's appreciation of the natural

The NVCA has been running a similar day camp in Essa, ON for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience operating a fun & educational program that parents can trust.

Family Ski Day

The 3rd Monday of February is Family Day and what better way to spend a day with your family than by taking advantage of Mono’s Family Ski Day?

Come enjoy a day of free cross country skiing at Monora Park, which offers 18 km of groomed ski trails. Equipment rentals will be free this day for the entire family.

Inside the Pavilion hot chocolate and lunch will be available while on the trail there will be free hot apple cider.

Family Ski Day is a collaborative event between the Town of Mono and Mono Nordic Ski Club.

Seniors Cross Country Ski Social

Every Wednesday at 3 pm at Monora Park. Non-members welcome ($5 fee) & ski rentals available. Beginners welcome. Instruction available. Contact Mono Nordic Ski Club at 519.939.9608 for more info.

Mono Ping Pong Club

Mono Ping Pong Club meets every Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 pm at Mono Community Centre, lower level. All equipment is supplied. Cost is $3 per person per night; children under 12 free.
