STATUTORY PUBLIC MEETING - OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT, ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT

ARAGON (HOCKLEY) DEVELOPMENT (ONTARIO) CORPORATION and 2133980 ONTARIO LIMITED, owners of the subject lands, have made application to the Town of Mono to amend the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw, as amended, to update the permitted uses on the subject property to reflect current commercial demands, revise the zoning limits on the subject lands, provide updated definitions of uses. and include other lands owned by the applicant. Specifically, two zones are contemplated (3 in existing bylaw) having general commercial uses on the north half and automotive commercial uses on the south half. Restrictions on the size of a building supply outlet (5575 m2) would be removed. The property has been zoned and designated commercial since 2001.
