TAKE NOTICE THAT the Corporation of the Town of Mono has received a resubmission of a Zoning Bylaw Amendment ZBA-2013-01 and Draft Plan of Subdivision DPA 2013-01.

In accordance with Section 34(10.4) and Section 51(19) of the Planning Act, Council of the Town of Mono deemed the above noted Application complete in April, 2013.

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT of the Zoning Bylaw Amendment is to consider a proposal to rezone the subject lands from the current RURAL (A) and ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (EP) zones to SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL (RU) and ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (EP).

The purpose of the Draft Plan of Subdivision is to consider a proposal to create a subdivision consisting of 37 lots containing detached one family homes with private well and septic systems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, including the proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning Bylaw amendment and any supporting information and documentation, are available for public viewing during regular office hours at the Town office at 347209 Mono Centre Road.

TOWN OF MONO PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE will be reviewing these applications TUESDAY, APRIL 5th, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town of Mono Council Chambers located at 347209 Mono Centre Road, 4 kms east of Highway #10/24. Meetings of the Planning and Environmental Advisory Committee are open to the public, and the public are welcome to attend and submit comments on the matter. Please note that the Planning and Environmental Advisory Committee only make recommendations to Council on the merits of the application.

A STATUTORY PUBLIC COUNCIL MEETING

HAS NOT BEEN SET AT THIS TIME.. An additional notice for the Public meeting will be sent at a later date to those who have received this notice by mail, and to anyone else who has requested notice in writing. A further notice of the Statutory Public Council meeting will also be published in local newspapers. Any person or agency may attend the Public meeting and/or make written or verbal submissions regarding the proposed amendment.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Mono before the proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Mono to the Ontario Municipal Board and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

A KEY MAP is provided to show the location of the lands to which the proposed applications apply.
